June M. Doty, 89, Mooresville, died peacefully June 24, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor. Mrs. Doty was born March 29, 1926, in Beech Grove, one of five children to the late William and Garnet (Adams) Theising.

She was a proud homemaker and the consummate wife, mother, and grandmother. She was strongly devoted to her family and was happiest being with her loved ones. She and her late husband and best friend, L. Wayne Doty, had a strong partnership. They enjoyed being a part of several square dance clubs and classic car clubs, including the Greenwood Model-A Club. June will be forever remembered by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by husband of 64 years, L. Wayne Doty.

Survivors include her children, Larry Doty (Belinda) of Mooresville and Sandra Farrell of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Ann Brown, David Farrell (Helen), Cindy Noel (Scott), and Meghan Farrell; three great grandchildren and one on the way.

The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2015, in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 1 p.m. Burial will be in Mt.   4. The Dotys were both class acts. I was their mail carrier for several years when the lived on Hadley Road. I really enjoyed them. They were always so nice to me. (Travis Green)
