Sorry for you loss. Was hoping I could come and see you and catch up on lost time. You will be missed my many. Never stopped thinking about you and your family.
We have fond memories of our earliest married years, living in $60/mo. single bed-rm apartments in the same building with Ralph and Martha, the Haapaas, and the Paters. All us guys were in the Air Force, stationed in Spokane, WN. We all had little money, but lots of good times. Gloria and Martha worked next door at the Longhorn Steakhouse, which helped. Our big group social of the year was on Thanksgiving Day, when we all chipped in….it was warm and wonderful sharing with friends. Ralph, Bill Pater and I used to hunt upland birds in the fall….great male bonding. Ralph started calling me ‘bird-dog’, as I used to alert him of birds before he saw them. Ha! Rest easy together now, Ralph and Martha…you’ve earned it. We will see each other again. With our sincerest wishes: Mike and Gloria Sanchez
Ralph was a long time friend / father to me. He aways respected my life choices. He will be greatly missed! I know he is with his wife Martha and enjoying life in heaven.
Ralph was a good guy. Always asked how my kids and family were doing and was always glad to see ya when ya came down to see him. I was glad to be able to help him out when I could. He got a kick out of seeing my kids, even though it was just a few times. He will be missed.
