Lyle "Curt" Robson
November 3, 1939 ~ December 20, 2014
Lyle “Curt” Robson, 75 of Mooresville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Worthington Place in Camby. Curt was born on November 3, 1939 in Springfield, IL to the late Lyle Edward and Helen Louise (Bond) Robson. He worked at Union Carbide/Prax-Air as a material handling leader for 34 years, retiring in 1998. Curt served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #103 in Mooresville; he was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Mooresville. Curt was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Ann (Garrison) Robson. Survivors include his children, Andrea R. Moyer, Mark, Troy and Kim Robson; his brother, Bill Robson; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service in celebration of Curt’s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2 at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Friends and family will visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. So Sorry to hear of Curts passing , he will be Missed by many . I met Curt when I was 3 yrs old he was my step dad for 10+ years , he always treated me as he did his own kids . He was a hard working man who loved old cars & antiques… Even after he remarried he still treated me like his own we had regular phone conversations right up til he became ill … He will be Missed by many ! I and my husband knew Curt like 40 yrs he and my husband worked together at Praxair we talked to him up until he was put in nursing home so sorry RIP Curt you were loved by many and a great person
My condolences and prayers to Curt’s family during this difficult time. I knew Curt when we were co-works at Union Carbide/Praxair. He was a very hard working guy who cared about doing things safely and the right way. We had many good times at his place in Mooresville and watching Indy cars at the IMS. Rest In Peace Curt

Curt was a wonderful caring grandfather to my son and loving friend and mentor to me. I miss our fantasy talks about moving to Australia and chasing kangaroos. My son was blessed to have such a man in his life. He will be missed.
I’m his niece and took care of him at the Worthington house before he passed. Uncle Curt my heart is breaking to find out on the internet so many months after you passed that you are gone. I’m so glad I got a chance to hug you while I took care of you. I know you and Mom are happily in the Lords kingdom and rejoicing together now. I love you.
