Judy D. Carpenter

Services for Judy D. Carpenter will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2014, in Springhill Christian Center, Mooresville. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall. Mrs. Carpenter, 70, Greencastle, died December 1, 2014, in St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.

Judy was born April 29, 1944, in Indianapolis, to the late Fred and Elsie (Briant) Albertson. She graduated from Martinsville High School. She worked for RCA and was the owner and operator of Headquarters Salon for many years in Spencer. Most recently, she was in store management at the Walmart in Spencer. Judy was a member of the Daughters of the Union and attended the Nazarene church in Martinsville while growing up. She will be missed by a loving family and many friends.

Judy was preceded in death by one grandchild, Christen Tubbs.

Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Carpenter, to whom she was united in marriage July 1, 1967; children, Scott Carpenter of Spencer, Brad Carpenter of Spencer, and Carri Harrison of Greencastle; brothers, Fred, Kenneth, Mike and Duane Albertson; sisters, Shirley Sink and Linda Davee; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
