wishing the family peace and love during this sad time, May God wrap His arms around you Amber…
We had a lot of good times on the fire department, he was a lot of fun to work with, I’m shocked and saddened by his passing. we didn’t see much of each other over the last few years but when we did he was the same old Glen, a good guy. I’m gonna miss you pal. Rick Overton
I only knew Glen for just a short time, but he made me smile! Wishing his family comfort during this time. -Kelsey
Glen was as much a brother to me as an uncle. We had a lot of fun over the years and I will miss him. I know he loved his family and we all loved him….gonna miss you, God called him home and we will see you again. Jason Puckett and family
Finally, rest in peace, Glen. I hope I provided some comfort and an ear for listening during my visits and phone calls. First picture I have seen you smile. Dr. A
I pray for peace and comfort for Amber! I believe my favorite memories of Glen was when he taught Ryan and I to play horseshoes 🙂
I didn’t have the opportunity to get to know Glen very well but was very close to Vickie, and Amber as she was growing up. We (my husband and I) met Glen briefly once, not sure what the occasion but he welcomed us and made us feel quite at home. He also made sure we didn’t leave empty handed as he loaded us up with plenty of vegetables from his garden! I’m so sorry for your loss ((hugs)) from the Woods’ Family
It’s never goodbye, how about see you later! Those were words of gold that I will never forget. Uncle Glen had a heart of gold who truly cared about how others felt and they had been through. When I moved in with Aunt Karen, Uncle Glen, Amber & Travis, I learned what the importance of being emotionally connected to family really meant. Growing up without a Dad was hard but having someone in your life that truly cared made my teenage years easier. I will never forget how Glen blunty told Amber, Travis, and I that we better straighten up before he straightened us after we tried freeing a horse near he and Karen then immediately afterwards came back and told us how awesome of kids we were for caring about the horse and that we weren’t really in trouble since we were caring. Glen and Karen taught me so much about values and they still shine so brightly in Amber. How blessed I trily feel for having known Uncle Glen, may you fly high, pain free!
