Evelyn M. Morris Lennis, 88, Mooresville, died September 14, 2014, in Plainfield Health Care Center. Mrs. Lennis was born May 12, 1926, in Noblesville, to the late Clifton and Minnie (Bell) Morris.
She graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1944. Mrs. Lennis worked in a number of retail settings and retired as the bookkeeper from Morehouse Video.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lennis was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Robert, and George Morris.
Survivors include one son, Michael Lennis and his wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Kevin Lennis, Michelle Lennis, Shawn Bechert, Christopher Bechert, and Matthew Bechert.
The graveside service will begin at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014, in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Pastor Mike Brown will officiate. Calling hours will not be observed.
