Joan M. Toon

Joan M. Toon, 63, Mooresville, died July 7, 2014, in her residence. Mrs. Toon was born January 18, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late David and Joan Agnes (Knille)Mulvey.
She graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis and worked for many years as a barber, most recently for Ed’s Barbershop in Plainfield. Mrs. Toon was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed making various kinds of crafts including making jewelry and card making. She was also a bird watcher. Joan will be missed by her loving family.
Survivors include her husband, William D. Toon, to whom she was united in marriage January 17, 1995; children, Laura Snyder of Michigan, Stephen Snyder of South Carolina, Robert Snyder of Montana, John Ackers of Noblesville; step-children, Frances Farthing of Virginia, Jennifer Medina of Georgia, and Billie Happel of Indianapolis; brothers, David Mulvey of California and Michael Mulvey of Indianapolis; 19 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
