Carla Wright Towsley

Carla Ann Wright Towsley, 62, Camby, died July 6, 2014. Carla was born January 31, 1952, in Linton, to Loren E. and Joanna N. (Williams) Wright, who both survive in Mooresville.
She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1970 and worked for a period of time at the Indiana State House. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Mooresville. Carla enjoyed watching soap operas, spending time with her family and enjoyed her favorite cat, Cantina. She loved music. She will be missed by her loving family.
In addition to her parents, Loren and Joanna Wright, survivors include her son, Kurt A. Towsley of Ft. Wayne; brother, Richard L. Wright of Crawfordsville; sister, Cheryl L. Markey of Camby; grandchildren, Rebekah and Jeremiah Joseph Towsley; nieces and nephews, Sandra McCullough, Richard Wright, Cindy McGary, and Angela Durham.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 10 a.m. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Carla, she was full,of grace and considerate of others, she was sweet & beautiful. But among those attributes, when I came to Mooresville High, she was the first friend I made. She was the angel that I so needed at that time of my life. Fly high my friend!!
I am so sorry to hear of Carla’s passing but please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God keep you all in the comfort of his arms during the rough days ahead and may your precious memories help you through this heart breaking time.
I am so saddened to read of Carla’s passing. She was such a sweet person and her smile and magnetic personality drew others to her. I will always have fond memories of our days in school.
