Mick Parsons, age 77, of French Lick, Indiana passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 in Indianapolis. He was born on December 2, 1936 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late Dillard and Sarah Margaret Ely Parsons.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ed and Cliff Parsons; his sister Ivory St. John.
Mick provided for his family working as a brakeman for Conrail retiring after 33 years of service . He enjoyed hunting fishing and being outdoors. Above all, Mick valued his family and enjoyed being with them often.

He is survived by his loving wife Doris J. Parsons; his three children, Rick Parsons of Mooresville, Mike Parsons of French Lick, and Vicki Parsons Henson (Willie) of Martinsville; his three brothers, Troy Parsons of Pennington Gap, VA, Jim Parsons of Indianapolis, Jackie Parsons of Kingsport Tennessee; his two sisters, Juanita Harber Pennington Gap, VA and Doris Ann Barnett of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Jake Parsons, Sara Randolph, Nikea Randolph, Tayia Randolph and Jackee Parsons.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, April 25 at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory with burial to follow at White Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4PM until 8PM on Thursday.
