I always called Dave ‘my second favorite Dave’ when I saw him and it was true. I cherish the huge grin on his face he had whenever I called him that. My husband is a Dave too. Dave was always beautifully kind, funny, charming and witty. I will miss him greatly. My prayers will continue to be lifted for Nancy, Daniel and Katrina and those who loved him.
Nancy and Children Tom and I were so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing Dave always had a smile and a very plesant comment to everyone I know he will be missed by all. You are all in our prayers and thoughts Love, Pat & Tom Cosgrove
I could always depend on you for guidance, a positive email from you, and just the security of knowing you were there for support! You have been a teacher, mentor, and above all, a friend to all! You will be sorely missed and you leave behind a legacy of all of the above and more!! When your name is mentioned now and in the future, you will always be remembered for all of the positive things you brought to all of us and to our veterans!! I am going to miss you dear friend! God Bless You, Myra Chaney
I first met Dave and Nancy when I was a teacher at Waverly Elementary and I had Daniel in my first grade class. Then a few years later I had Katrina in my class. Dave and Nancy were very involved parents who valued education. They were always there to support their children in their academic endeavors. Nancy volunteered in my classroom and I enjoyed our friendship. Dave would come to activities or performances when he could get away from work. I could tell that they had a very loving and close family life. My heart breaks for Nancy, Daniel, Katrina, and the Polikoffs’ family and friends. ?? My prayers go up for them. ??
My deepest sympathies to Nancy and entire family
