  6. Don & Dorothy have been great neighbors & friends! Our daughters have been sharing many of their childhood memories of Don, especially the candy dish at the back door. Don was always helpful. He loved his home neat & his yard mowed. His watchful eye on our neighborhood will be missed. The guy could still play a mean euchre game! He always had a story, complete wth details! Amazing! We feel blessed to have had them in our lives & will miss him! Our condolences to his family.

  7. Where to begin. My family moved into Sundown Manor when I was 3, I remember going down to his house to eat candy. Every time I would come in Don or Dorothy would say ‘Get you a piece of candy’, even at the age of 20 I still lovedddd their hospitality. He had a very colorful language, but when around me or my sisters he would always try and watch what he said. You could always see him sitting in his chair watching tv and watching whoever entered and left our neighborhood. I was always grateful for his protection. I miss him so much already. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy and their family. Cole & Rachel Waggoner (Ball)
