Mary would sit next to me in church I remember a Sunday when Pastor Jeff remembered his younger years in Petersburg and Mary would wave her hanky in church, it made her feel so good that he had remembered her. Mary had such a sweet loveing spirit. she will be missed. My sister loved her dearly, and so did I.
I grew up with John and Naomi and have many fond memories of Mary.
I’m sorry that I learned of Mrs. Hartman’s death so long after the fact. Naomi was a neighbor, classmate and friend of mine. I remember Mary as soft spoken, kind and gentle. Condolences to her family.
