Patricia Louise Choate

Patricia Louise Haggard Nelms Choate, age 58, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. Born May 17, 1955, she was the daughter of Eli Haggard and Naomi (Hall) Lahrman. Her mother survives. Other survivors include her children, Douglas Nelms, John C. Nelms, Michelle L. Moore, Roxanna Marie Brooks, Stephanie Hart, Vanessa Velasquez; her siblings, John, Frank, David, Ruth, Cindy, Gini; 17 grandchildren; and her cherished companion, Jack MacCormack. Patricia was preceded in death by her father and siblings Peggy and Ron.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1150 State Road 144 Mooresville, with burial at West Union Cemetery. Calling will be Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Baptist Church.   4. Mom everyday is a struggle with you gone but looking at your grandchildren keep me going you never gave up on anything in life, nor will I. I love you so and always will. You always were there for us even when we did not want you to be. You had your flaws but that is what made you so unique. I love and Miss you and always will. Steven called me on my birthday and sang to me and said I hope I was close to what grandma would sing. I laughed and said you just singing was enough. Might have him start calling family for you lol.   6. Momma I need you right now. Jesse lost his grandpa today and the kids are not handling it well. I need you to tell me it will be ok how do I explain it to the kids. They lost 3 grandparents in less than a years time. They have not had time to heal on any of them. They are hurting so bad. I love you mom I MISS you so bad.
