  15. Kenny Gray was a rough and ready playmate and friend during our days together at Indianapolis Public School #44. We played hundreds of rough football scirmages on the edges of South Grove golf course, went through cub scouts and boy scouts together in the Hawk patrol, and played in sports organized by Herman Olson of the Riverside Methodist church. We built forts, made long hikes and bicycle trips, played night commandos in open fields, and chased over-the-wall balls during practice at Victory Field – to earn free admissions to the games. Kenny Gray was a good friend and comrade in arms through through those early years. I wish I could be there to meet his family – but am living in Toronto.

  16. Kenny also had many fond memories of those days. He talked about his young day growing up on Harding Street…and his adventures with you and Freddy..

  17. Kenny goes way back in my life, He got me to join The army national guard in1965. He will be missed everyone that knew him.
