To Ed and Nida, I express my deepest expression of sympathy and share your sorrow at the passing of Helen. The memories I have of Helen date back to the late 60’s. I couldn’t have be but eight or ten years old. She and George Bryant would take me to spend nights with them in their little house on Milhon Drive near Gasburg. Why they did that, I do not know. I just remember that they we both very kind to me and it was such a treat to stay all night at their house. Those were good times and I will never forget her and remember thinking how pretty she was. Rest in peace Helen McClanahan.
