Dale Eugene Harder

64, of Mooresville, passed away on June 10, 2023, at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Dale was born on October 20, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Murl Dale Harder and Roxie (Oaks) Harder.

Dale worked as a Supplier Quality Engineer for Allison Transmissions for many years. Family, Grandkids and Hunting were the cornerstone of Dale’s life. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, and hunted as much as he could. He will be remembered as a hardworking, big-hearted, well-mannered gentleman, who was an excellent provider for his family. He was also known as the “gear expert” who could fix anything.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte (Thompson) Harder; son Eric (Jackie) Harder; daughter Brittany Harder; four grandchildren Carter Worrall, Karyna Harder, Zayn Harder, and Skyla Johnson, who will all miss him dearly.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Dale’s life on Friday, June 16^th from 2-6pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Additional visitation will be on Saturday, June 17^th from 12:00pm until time of the services at 2:00pm (Central Time) at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 296 Askins Rd. Fordsville, KY 42343. Burial will follow the services in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fordsville, KY.
