I enjoyed growing up with Craig as his step-sister. We had a lot of fun on four-wheelers and sliding through ditches after the rain. He was always so sweet and called me “sis.” Wish we had been closer after my dad passed. He will be missed.
Janice, I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of Craig. My thoughts and prayers for you and the family at this most difficult time. Sending you Love, Hugs, and Prayers 💙💞🙏
By best memories with Craig was when I was still a teenager, (18 years old) living with Mom & Dad, Charles & Shirley Johnson, at the Coal City Farm. One time that really sticks out to me was a Holiday, I think it was Thanksgiving! Mom was playing the piano and I was drying the dinner dishes. Craig came into the kitchen and asked why I wasn’t in with Grandma and everyone else? I told him , because it was my job to dry the dishes and put them away. He said, well, I will help you and we will get it done quicker. He was only 9 or 10 at the time, he was so sweet, he chose to help me. So we had our own little conversation in the kitchen. I wish we could have stayed in contact with each other.
I am so very sorry that Craig has passed on. I worked with Craig at the Coachman. I always gave him a big thumbs for his hard work and the way he would keep that smile on his face no matter how busy the restaurant would be. To his family and friends, Craig is no doubt telling you to not grieve. You will see him again. What a reunion that will be! I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless🎂
