  1. I’ve lost a very dear friend here. β€œ My Man Marvin” he always grinned when I said that. Marvin thought me so much about the Lord n about life. He was a great, quiet neighbor, and best Christian man I knew. I wouldn’t be selfish n ask God to keep him here- I wanted him to go so he didn’t suffer n he kept his dignity. And he always smelled good on Sunday morning πŸ˜€.
My sincere condolences go out to his family n many friends. I love ya POPs and will never forget our friendship! Your sis in the lord n forever friend! R.I.H. N I’m happy Betty was there n everyone else to welcome you home!! Love always Kim Alsup

  6. Uncle Marvin always fun to be with and educational if ya just listened. A good man, would give you his last dollar if you needed it. My kids, Natalie and Lee talked of kindnesses and fun times after visits. My favorite words of wisdom by Uncle Marvin β€œI’m not lost, just temporarily mis-placed”. Love you and will miss you , Richard , Sue , Natalie and Lee

  7. Fond memories of our dear friend and neighbor! He was very generous to the young people of our neighborhood many years ago by letting them use his field for playing ball and other sports! He also let us have our 4th of July celebrations there! We miss you Marvin!
