Dearest Shana,
I was so very sorry to hear of Gary passing. I know when you were working at the Circle K I would see you and be able to catch up breifly. My one regret is that I did not get by to see him before he passed away. Apple & I had just talked about him coming to get me in the bike and ride over to see you both. We had been talking about our Florida (Bike Week) trip when we stayed with the two of you. We had a awesome time that week. As you know we lost Apple a few short weeks later. We’ve lost a few more of the group since then. I will be thinking of you and promise I’ll be in touch very soon. I spend alot of time in Waverly so I’ll stop in. Thoughts and Prayers are with you. 🙏
Gary and I grew up together and lived across the street from each other. We had a wonderful childhood riding his pony Lucky, spending hours with his dogs and cats, and playing in the wooded area behind his home. I will remember him with fondness and cherish those sweet memories. My sincere condolences to his family.
I think I have a drawing that gary did. I got it from my uncle Lewis Trivett. On the back of it it says Fort Madison state prison 1984. Sorry for your loss. And really sorry if it’s not his drawing, I was just trying to see if he had kids that may want it.
