We’re in this together. This morning as I was coping with all of it, one big thing kept staring me in the face as I was reading his words. Mike truly knew he was at the end and was exhausted just trying to live. He was really, really ready to go and he was trying so very hard to prepare us for what was coming. He struggled with us hurting and wanted us to look back and see all the love and good times his life had and how blessed we are to have each other. That’s what his mission was especially here at the end. That’s how much he loved us. My heart is breaking but I know he wanted so much for us to not be sad, sigh. If only it was that easy. I love you my son.

He was my son I never had, loaned to me by my sister, he was my rock my love my boy my best friend and every part of my life and being. We shared a very special and unbreakable bond. His loss is immeasurable and will last a lifetime. I know few people who loved and was devoted to his son David and daughter Lillian and also his parents sister and nieces. He loved and experienced life to the fullest. He lit up the world with that smile, worked hard, cared deeply about his friends and also his animals. Go rest easy on that mountain my sweet boy.

This young man lit up the world with his smile. He was a devoted father a beloved son, grandson and nephew. He had an impeccable work ethic which was appreciated by his employees and coworkers alike. He made friends easily and was loyal to a fault. Mike was the son I never had, he was on loan from my sister so to speak and he was my love my life and my rock, our bond was unbreakable. His loss will be for all of us will last a lifetime, and he will never know the void that he has left. So my boy, “go rest easy on that mountain”.
