Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. When I was a young ATC in training, I would go to the back dock and smoke a cigarette all while kicking myself in the ass. I remember one day I was feeling like a particular dummy and Ken gave me the best pep talk. After that I quit with the pity party and took his advice. I looked forward to our chats on the back dock. He was such a great guy and gave me so much hope and inspiration! This earth was better for having Kenny and Heaven is rejoicing at his coming home. HE WAS JUST SUCH A GREAT GUY. May God bring you into the love and light of his face Ken! May we meet again at the back dock of Heaven and chat. You made this place better than you found it brother!!

  2. Kenny and I worked together for many years, he always had a positive outlook on things, I trained him when he was a fledgling controller, we worked together when I was an area representative for NATCA and represented FAA management…RIP my friend

  4. Kenny was one of my favorite supervisors. He was a compassionate, good person. One time (when I was a new controller) I overslept for my morning shift and he called and left a message “Sheila, this is your Indy center wake-up call” . I was never late, and he knew this and went easy on me and laughed about it after I finally showed up to work. He was an all-around good guy. I am really saddened to learn of his passing. I know he loved life and retirement. My deepest condolences to his family.
