My prayers for comfort are with the family. It is hard to lose Rodger sooner than was expected but now he is no longer in pain and resting in peace. I will miss my neighbor and friend. God bless.
Papa Perdue was one of the most loving, gentle, and kindest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He loved his daughter Corie with everything he had and it was beautiful to witness that love first hand. They both welcomed me as a part of their family and always made me feel safe and special. I will cherish the memories, remember his spirit, and be thankful for the loving embrace that was a wonderful man. My heart is with you always, Corie. I love you💜

Rest easy Rodger
Roger was the most kind, tender hearted guy I know. He always had a smile on his face everytime I saw him. Just an all around great guy, Gods Speed Roger… and “Gears”, a long standing joke between us❤️🙏
Rodger was my neighbor and very good friend for the past four years, he was always so good to me, helped me with anything he could. I went to Rodger many times crying and he would do his best to comfort me. After I lost my only child, Rodger was there for me always willing to listen to my pain. He was such a good guy to me, always smiling, loved talking about his family, and the good old days when he could get around and do all the things he loved to do. We would talk for hours and hours, and watch the birds together. I know he is in heaven having a good time, no longer in pain, and laughing. I will miss Rodger so much, this hurts so bad to loose him. Rodger if you see Wesley tell him Mama loves him.
RIP ole friend. You will be missed by many. Prayers to the family.
Rodger was a lively, kind, and gentle soul, with a talent for making everyone laugh. Remember when we were on the playground at Walnut Grove Elementary in the 5th or 6th grade. He had a rubber snake, that I thought was real and he chased me with it for almost our entire recess. In High School he would hold his arm up and move his wrist back and forth, as if he was shifting car gears. Then he and the other guys in the hallway would yell “spins”! He made life interesting, joyful, and fun. I’m forever grateful and better off for having known him. He’ll always be with us inside our hearts. He’s an angel wearing a smile and my prayers go out to him and his family.-ps
I love hearing all the memories of my father they make me smile 😊, he had the Sweetest soul. He was a loving, caring, & genuine man. He had stories for days about school dances, fast cars, “shifting gears” 😁 & Florida trips on the Harley. He was the Best Dad & Papa Ari & I could Ever ask for. His strength and courage from such a young man drafted after highschool till his last days were Empowering. He will Always be our Hero & Forever in our hearts💗 We appreciate all the love, prayers, & support 🙏🏼
