Ralph “Elmo” Pemberton
95, of Mooresville, passed away on March 1, 2025 at home. Elmo was born September 7, 1929 in Chenoa, Illinois to the late Howard and Mamie (Fugate) Pemberton.

Elmo was a member of Mt. Gilead Church, where he served as an Elder. Additionally, he proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion in Florida, V.F.W in Mooresville and the National Rifle Association. Elmo enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, camping or gardening. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and enjoying a good meal with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Patsy Pemberton, son Mike Pemberton, daughter Linda Pemberton, and a great grandson Preston Wickham.

He is survived by his daughter Cindy (Jack) Abell, daughter in law Faye Pemberton, grandchildren, Lillian (Jeremy) Lantzer, Carrie (Aaron) Wickham, Andrew (Stephanie) Breedlove, Jonathon Breedlove, Titus (Samantha) Pemberton; and 12 great grandchildren, Corbin (Sydneigh), Sophie, Emma and Colson Lantzer; Felicity, Jacquelyn, Hagan, and Lydia Wickham; Arianna, Isaac, Evelyn, and Olivia Pemberton.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Elmo’s life on Saturday March 8th from 11:00am-1:00pm at Mt. Gilead Church, 6019 E S R 144, Mooresville, IN, with the services to follow at 1:00pm, at the church. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery.
