Marietta “Met” Morgan

May 14, 1959 ~ June 5, 2025

Born in: Hoskinston, Kentucky
Resided in: Camby, Indiana

Marietta Morgan, 66, of Camby, passed in the comfort of her home on Thursday, June 5, 2025.  She was born in Hoskinston, Kentucky on May 14, 1959 to Jennifer (Muncy) Morgan and the late Hughes Parker “Twist” Morgan.

Met, as most lovingly knew her, enjoyed various jobs over the years including working for FEDEX and as a photography assistant. She enjoyed traveling to many destinations including the Smokey Mountains, Florida, Cancun, and other cities in Mexico.  Part of her love for the mountains likely came from her strong Appalachian heritage of which she took great pride.  Additionally, she greatly enjoyed time spent with her family and her life companion of over 25 years, Tony Compton.

She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends including her mother, Jennifer Muncy Morgan of Mooresville; sons, Jason Morgan of Camby and Kenneth Morgan Camby; grandchildren, Huston Morgan of Camby; companion Tony Compton of Paragon; brothers, Larry (wife, Marilyn) Morgan of Camby, Mitchell Lynn (wife, Michele) Morgan of Camby, and Kennie Morgan (girlfriend, Lori) of Paragon; sisters, Joyce Morgan Camden of Poland, Charlene Morgan Walker of Westport, and Marsha Pugh of Camby; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hughes Parker “Twist” Morgan and brothers-in-law, Gary Pugh and Rick Murray.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, June 11th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory.   Met’s Life Celebration® Service will follow beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.  Her earthly remains will be cremated and then later laid to rest in the family cemetery in Kentucky following the service.
