Ramona J. Radford
81, of Mooresville, passed away on July 16, 2025 at home. Ramona was born on May 25, 1944 in Seymour, Indiana.
Ramona was a talented artist. She enjoyed painting, writing, crocheting, and painting several custom murals on vans over the years. However, it was spending time with her family and friends that brought her the most joy. She married the love of her life, Jesse Radford, on March 20, 1963. Together they had two children, Jesse and Cristl. She also loved dogs, rescuing several dogs from local kennels throughout the years. Ramona used her creative talents as a graphic designer for Indiana University for over eleven years, until her retirement. She was also a member of the Plainfield Christian Church, where she sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary (Hutton) Wrighthouse.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jesse Radford; son Jesse (Elaine) Radford; daughter Cristl Danielle Radford, and a granddaughter Guinevere Eugena Jane Radford, who will all miss her dearly.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ramona’s life on Sunday, July 20th from 3-6pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21st at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield, Indiana.
