Amanda Jo Lyons

Amanda Jo Lyons, 43, of Mooresville, left this earthly life on Friday, July 18, 2025.  She was born to Richard and Robin (Marangoni) Lyons on November 26, 1981 in Danville.

At three years old, Amanda was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut.  This caused her to mentally decline throughout her life.  While she did not have an easy or long life, she made a lasting impact on all who knew her.  Her smile and joy filled every space she entered.

She enjoyed Disney movies including her favorites Frozen and The Lion King.  Michael Jackson was her favorite singer with her number one track being “Bad”.   She treasured stuffed animals and being read to.  Torn between being a princess, dinosaur, or a cat, she would often combine them by roaring and meowing at the same time.  Regardless, she will always be her parents’ baby princess and dinosaur.

Amanda will be missed and forever remembered by her family including her father and mother, Richard and Robin Lyons of Mooresville; brother, Brandon (wife, Charity) Lyons of Centerville; nephews, Braiden (wife, Jillian) Lyons and Logan Lyons; niece, Aspen Lyons; great nephew, Bravery Lyons; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Amanda’s celebration of life on Saturday, July 26^th at Eternal Life Baptist Church, 8554 E Hendricks County Road Mooresville, Indiana.  The memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm and a family meal gathering will follow from 3:15 pm to 5:00 pm. Amanda’s earthly remains have been cremated.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory.
