Nancy G. Chilcote, 74, of Camby, went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2025, at Franciscan Health Mooresville. She was born in Indianapolis on March 7, 1951, to the late Claude and Eileen (Mitchell) Dillon. Nancy graduated from Decatur Central High School. Nancy’s faith and family were her greatest joys. She was a powerful woman of faith and a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville. A dedicated wife and mother, Nancy flourished as a stay-at-home mother to her six children. When she decided to go back to work, Nancy became the lead cake decorator at Marsh for 15 years. She loved cooking and baking for everyone, especially red velvet cake and cinnamon rolls!
Nancy enjoyed vacationing at the beach, but her favorite spot was the mountains in Gatlinburg. She often took trips with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored deeply.
