Jennifer Lynn Wingate
40, of Mooresville, passed away on January 11, 2026, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute after a brief illness. Jennifer was born on May 1, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Wes Wingate and Lisa (Pearison) Wingate.

Jennifer loved animals, collecting and playing with dolls as well as the holidays, especially Christmas and her birthday. She enjoyed attending Mass at St. Thomas More and doing outreach ministry at local nursing homes, where she would sing, recite the rosary and paint resident’s nails to make them feel special and not forgotten. She will be remembered as a pretty princess, who loved serving others.

She is survived by her mother Lisa Wingate; father Wes Wingate (Cathy); brother Jason Wingate (Meaghan); grandmother Ann Wingate; stepsisters Christina Faux, Nichole Faux, Amanda Faux-Smith (Josh); nieces Reece Wingate, Presley Wingate, London Wingate, along with several aunts, uncles and extended family who will all miss her dearly.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jennifer’s life on Monday, January 19th from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services beginning at 2:00pm Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery.

In keeping with Jennifer’s love of animals, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Morgan County Humane Society, 690 W Mitchell Ave, Martinsville, IN 46151, https://www.mchumanesoc.org/.

      Oh yeah…let’s not forget Christmas that always started in July…

I remember Jennifer from mooresville school and also I have took care of Jennifer while she was at mooresville franciscan hospital she will be dearly missed she had a sweet soul she always had a baby doll with her and her momma always by her side I will be praying for the family that Jesus will give them comfort and peace during this time

  9. Lisa and family we’re so very sorry…Jennifer was so loving and caring of others around her.. So many memories of her growing up and camping with all of us at Paynetown Lake Monroe. Nita french braiding all the girls hair as soon as they would wake up out of the tents and or campers she couldn’t stand there stringy hair they didn’t like her to do there hair but she would grab them and get them done and they always looked so beautiful after, you definitely knew who’s campground all the girls came from thanks to Ant Nita lol. Also so many fond memories remembering all the kids decorating there bicycles every year at Memorial Day and forth of July her and all the kids loved it as they rode through whole campgrounds so proud with all the other children and adults in the bicycle parades ..So many great wonderful memories with her camping and boating at Dale Hollow lake state park everyyear for many years all of us cherish them …She’s already missed always till we meet her again one day Love and Prayers to you and all her family and friends 💐 ♥️😘🙏🏼

So sorry for ur loss Lisa – as others have said losing a child has to be the worse thing that can happen to to a parent – I remember when I first met Jennifer when I worked @ Dr Kirby’s Office n she would come n with George – she was a sweetheart n loved her dolls – May God grant u peace n comfort n this time of sorrow n n the days n weeks to come… Prayers n Blessings to u n the family 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  11. Jennifer played basketball on our Unified basketball team for Mooresville. We would play on Sunday afternoons in the winter months against teams in Martinsville. I was her coach and had fun working with her. She would really get into it and had a competitive spirit to her! Seeing her picture again made me smile. I am blessed to have known her during this life for a little while!
