Sorry for you and your family. Hang on to the good memories he left you. Take care.
One of my memories is from when I was 4 and Roger was 3. We lived next door to our Grandparents (Cooper) and the two of use would run over there frequently without telling our Mother (Mary Ermine Mavity Cooper). In order to prevent our escapes our Father fenced in our yard. We loved our Grandparents dearly and would rather spend time with them helping them on the farm. Sooo we just did what was needed and dug an escape opening under the fence and off we would go.
Roger was caught placing the baby chicks in a big jar. When asked what he was doing he replied “I’m canning chicken just like Grandma does”. (They caught him and no baby chicks were harmed)
I have so many fond memories. I was 13 months older than Roger so we were together always as children. I miss our morning calls little brother.
