Lisa Pygman

August 23, 1965 ~ April 16, 2026

Born in: Beech Grove, Indiana
Resided in: Mooresville, Indiana

Lisa Pygman, 60, Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2026, after a recent diagnosis with ovarian cancer.  Lisa was born on August 23, 1965, in Beech Grove.  She married the love of her life, David Pygman, on April 9, 2011, and he survives.

Lisa graduated from Mooresville High School in 1983, did schooling to become a dental assistant and graduated from Harrison College, earning an associate degree in human resources and business administration.  Lisa worked in various positions in different fields before finding her favorite job of all time.  Her life was complete as a loving wife to David and an adoring mom to all her children.

Growing up, Lisa was a Rainbow Girl.  Like her Grandma Roxie, Lisa became an accomplished seamstress and quilter.  She owned and operated Lisa’s Long Arm & Crafts.  She and David enjoyed camping/glamping, making one of the most memorable trips to see Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and Campground.  She was an avid country music fan and was much fonder of the classic country than the more recent hits.  Lisa also loved animals, especially her beloved bulldogs, Onyx, Tiberius, and Dream.  Lisa will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and her ability to make others feel valued and important.  Her generosity was always at the forefront, and she was most content being in the background, allowing others to shine in the spotlight.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie VanDeGrift and Michael Collins.

Survivors include her beloved husband, David Pygman; children, Ashley Coonfield, Amanda Coonfield, Alyssa Coonfield, Aaron Coonfield, Isaiah Pygman, Elijah Pygman, and Noah Pygman; sister, Theresa (Todd) Bock, Michael (Tawny) Collins, and Matthew (Teresa) Collins.

Lisa’s Life Celebration® Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory.  Friends may call on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2026.  Burial will follow in the White Lick Cemetery.
