Born in: Indianapolis , Indiana
Resided in: Plainfield, Indiana

Mika Starr Tidd, 79, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous cancer journey.

She was born on September 28, 1946, to the late Ralph and Sylvia (Dynell) Wycoff. Starr graduated from high school and dedicated much of her life to caring for her home and family, a role she cherished deeply. On September 29, 1999, she married the love of her life, Don Tidd, who survives.

Starr found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was an avid reader who loved books of every kind and enjoyed spending time browsing the library for her next great read. She was a devoted member of Valley Mills Christian Church and a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. Starr also adored all things Paris—from coffee mugs to home décor—and treasured a dream trip to Paris that her beloved grandchildren made possible. Saving together to surprise Starr and Don with the journey of a lifetime, they created memories she held close to her heart forever.

Above all else, Starr treasured her family. They were the center of her world, bringing her endless joy and standing faithfully beside her throughout her illness. She shared a special and unique bond with each of her grandchildren, and her love for them was immeasurable.

Starr will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, deep love for her family, and the joy she found in the people and passions she loved most.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 25 years, Don Tidd; daughters, Renay Muskat (Jim) and Denise Harris (Danny); son, Ronnie Trover (Stacey); 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Wycoff; sisters, Joy Pyatte, Sharon Wycoff, and Shelly Judd; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In honoring Starr’s wishes, her earthly remains will be cremated, and the family will host a Celebration of Life on June 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Valley Mills Christian Church. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm.

Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville is entrusted with Starr’s cremation arrangements.
