Barbara Ann Hagee

Barbara Ann Hagee, 93, of Mooresville, left this earthly life on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Boone County, Indiana on September 20, 1932 to the late Howard Earl Stembel and Beryl Elizabeth (Gregory) Stembel.

She graduated from Mooresville High School with the class of 1950. She then earned a Bachelors Degree in elementary education from Ball State University. Barbara was a faithful member of the Quaker community and the Friends Church, where she cultivated meaningful relationships and made lasting contributions to her congregation.

On June 11, 1955, Barbara married her best friend and life partner, Charles Hagee. Barbara found joy in nurturing her family and exploring her many passions. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed all kinds of crafts, which allowed her to express her creativity and share her talents with those around her. Barbara also loved to immerse herself in mystery novels, participating in her favorite game, Bunco, with family and friends. As a proud member of the Red Hat Society, she embraced life with a vibrant spirit.

She will be deeply missed by many including her sons, Robert (wife, Luanne) Hagee of Mooresville and Bryan (wife, Laura) Hagee of Glassboro, New Jersey; grandchildren, Charles, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Catherine, Eric, and Ian; and great grandchildren, Isabelle, Rosalie, Irvin, Eleanor, and Jackson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Beryl Stembel; husband, Charles Hagee; and brother, Joseph Stembel.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 30th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Barbara’s Life Celebration Service will begin at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, July 1st at the funeral home with an hour of visiting prior. She will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
