Ramona Settle
93, of Mooresville, passed away on June 12, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family. Ramona was born on July 20, 1932, in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Edgar S. Raley and Ida V. (Coffey) Mason.

Ramona and her husband William owned and operated Settle & Sons Excavation for many years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching basketball, cheering on the Pacers and Bulls, as well as traveling around the globe. She was a member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and her adventurous spirit (riding a jet ski at 79 years young)!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Eugene Settle; daughter Vickie Dunn; brothers James E. Raley, Mike Mason; sister Phyllis Gray, and a granddaughter, Jenny Dunn.

She is survived by her children Fred Settle (Maggie), Joseph Settle (Shaun), Debbie Bell (Rick); 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Ramona’s life on Tuesday June 16th from 9:00am- 11:00am at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services beginning at 11:00am Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
