Dale A. White

Rev. Dale A. White
90, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 13, 2026 at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield. Dale was born on February 24, 1936 in Tuscola, Illinois to the late Delzie M. (Soards) White and Montelle Roscoe White.

Dale earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. He worked as a mechanical engineer for the US Navy in Crane, IN for 20 years, then as a safety engineer for US Army in Rock Island, IL, before retiring. A strong man of faith, Dale also served as a Pastor in Clinton, Iowa for 27 years. He also served as a member and board member at the Crossroads Church of Mooresville for 21 years, 15 of which he served as secretary/ treasurer.

Additionally, he served as the North American Missions Director for the United Pentecostal Church, Iowa District in the 1980’s and 90’s. Next to his faith in God, his family was at the cornerstone of his life. He enjoyed reading, traveling with family on vacations to Gatlinburg, TN and Branson, MO, and was a die-hard fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He will be remembered as a strong man of faith and prayer, who loved people, and a Minister to the Gospel of The Kingdom of God.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel (Wells) White; children Deborah Mann (Stephen Lybarger), Rev. Curtiss White (Linda), Darla White; grandchildren Jessica Smith, Sarah Steineke, Lindsay Crandall, Landon White, Logan White, Lauren Wildrick and 13 great grandchildren, who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22nd from 3:00pm -6:30pm at the Crossroad Church, 10967 N Kitchen Rd, Mooresville, IN 46158, with a celebration of Dale’s life beginning at 6:30pm Monday in the church. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd at 10:00am in Roselawn Cemetery, in Terre Haute, IN.
