Maymie Margaret Hendricks, age 70, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, in the company of her loving family at University Heights in Indianapolis. An active member of The Sanctuary Church in Beech Grove, Maymie cherished her faith and often expressed it through gospel music, which brought her immense joy. She also had a creative side, enjoying the art of flower arrangements. Additionally, in her younger years, she enjoyed roller-skating. 2. Dearest Jerry, Jeremy & Keeley,
Sending our deepest & sincerest prayers heavenward for comforting your spirits & strength for days ahead.
We will all miss her gentleness & kindness as she spread her love for Jesus not only in song but in her daily living. Plus her special love for her family shined through her smile. 🥰🥰
Have some of the fondest times & memories shared as Del & Maymie as teenagers & going up to Lake WaWaSee with church Sunday School class.
What a beautiful reunion she & Del are having now as Del shows her all around. God bless – Ron & “Yourelda” (that is what she used to think my name was for many years) – Foley, AL❤️❤️🥰🥰🙏🙏

  3. Remembering all the sweet memories and the fun times we had with you, Lynne and I living in the upstairs apartment on Jackson St. in Frankfort. Also, the good times working with you at Peter Paul candy factory and going to listen to the Promise Land singers which you were a part of.

Going to really miss your sweet smile and laugh!

Love and miss you already, but someday we will be together again.

  4. My prayers are with you Jerry & Family. Maymie was the sweetest, beautiful and most lovingly kind lady. I loved seeing her at church in Florida through the years. We had a wonderful time on the church cruise we went on a few years back. God has taken her pain away and she is now in his loving care.

  5. May God bring you comfort and peace. Heaven gained a beautiful soul with a gracious heart.

  6. “There’s a Miracle in the Making” A wonderful song that Maymie made her own. Jesus, be with Jerry, Jeremy and family in this valley. She’s healed today. And she’s home.

  7. Maymie was such a sweet and caring person. She loved life, music and friends. She was always willing to help with any music functions. I will miss her so much. She is with her maker now and in no pain may she rest in peace.

  8. Maymie, a neighbor, friend, and special person who left footprints in our life’s.
Our daughter Amy and Jeremy were friends in their younger years. I will never forget when you invited me to hear you (Maymie) sing at a Wedding. I didn’t even know the people getting married. Standing on the sideline the bouquet came right toward me.
Shortly afterwards I met my soon to be husband. God had a plan for me – my husband and I will soon celebrate 35 years. My prayers are with Jerry, Jeremy and his wife while you navigate this void. Maymie was an amazing lady, mom, wife, friend and Christian. You will be missed not only by me but many – God gained an angel.
    Love Pam Long ✝️

  9. Maymie was a beautiful person outside and inside. She was a loving soul. Her family was so blessed to have her in their lives. As one of her many cousins, I always felt a warm presence whenever in her company. She will be missed in this world, but a great reunion awaits for those in Christ. Many prayers will be going out for her family. Denise and I send our loving prayers out for Maymie’s family.
