Vicki D. Gipson

Vicki D. Gipson, 68, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away on July 2, 2026, at IU Health West Hospital.

Born on October 22, 1957 in Danville, Vicki was the daughter of the late Vernon and Edith (Saltz) Gipson. She was a graduate of Danville High School.

Vicki had a creative spirit and found happiness in the things she loved most. Vicki enjoyed painting, coloring, making jewelry, working word search puzzles, and collecting stickers. She also had a special love for dogs, whose companionship brought her great joy.

Those who knew Vicki will remember her for her gentle heart, creative nature, and the kindness she shared with others. She had a warm smile and a caring spirit that made a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Edith (Saltz) Gipson; and sister, Diana Hare.

She leaves behind a niece, Kris Monaghan (John); nephews, Mark Hare and Brian Perdue; great-nieces and nephews, John Robert Monaghan, Jake Monaghan, Kate Monaghan, Samantha Jenkinson (Vaughn), Shelby Hare, Brian Perdue, Jr.; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.

Vicki will be laid to rest privately next to her parents in Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
