Jerry Wayne Crosby, age 87, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at his home in Plainfield, IN. Born on September 1, 1938, Jerry was born to the late Stewart Preble Crosby and Helen Rose (Kercher) Crosby in Shelbyville.

Jerry had a passion for travel, exploring beautiful destinations such as the Holy Land (twice), Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and Dauphin Island, Alabama, always seeking new experiences.

He is survived by his loving family including his daughter, Kimberly (husband, Garry) Lear of Mooresville and grandchildren, Amber (husband, Tyler) Owens of Mooresville and Jacob Crosby of Indianapolis.
