Tina Marie Patterson

December 22, 1956 ~ August 1, 2026

Born in: Beech Grove, Indiana
Resided in: Amo, Indiana

Tina Marie Patterson, 69, of Amo, passed onto eternal rest and was freed of her earthly struggles with her health on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon. She was born in Beech Grove to the late Clarence William Bristow Jr. and Marian Joanne (Collins) Bristow on December 22, 1956.

Before her health began failing, Tina worked for several jobs and often two jobs simultaneously to care for her family. She worked at several businesses including Olan Mills, Polygram Records, Bryant’s, and several others. No stranger to hard work, she was a tax preparer, bartender, manager, and several additional occupations throughout her life. She also was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She infused her home with love, laughter, and an incredible spirit that brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Beyond her family, Tina had a passion for gardening. She also had a profound love for animals, especially her beloved dog, Jazzy. She also appreciated the beauty and majesty of horses. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Tina had a playful side as well, enjoying the thrill of scratch-off tickets, which she affectionately referred to as her “Casino.”

Tina will be deeply missed by her family and friends including her daughters, Bobbie (husband, Mike) Johnson of Clayton and Kari Pierce of Amo; brothers, William (wife, Jennifer) Bristow of Danville and Mark Bristow of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Wade Goodale (Ashley Jefferson), Tiana (Dallas) Wise, Derick Goodale (Kortney Leeson), and Kenzie Wheeler; and great grandchildren, Westyn, Hayden, Kashtyn, Adalyn, Brixton, Holston, and Colter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Marian; and son-in-law, Michael Pierce.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, August 7th at 2:00 pm in Amo Cemetery where Tina will be laid to rest.
