Clara Rae Wiser
90, of Mooresville, passed away on September 14, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Clara was born on April 17, 1936 in Yosemite, Kentucky to the late Estil and Hazel (Wesley) Lucas.

Clara attended the University of Kentucky, before marrying the love of her life, William Randall Wiser in 1957. She was a hardworking homemaker and seamstress who hand made many of her family’s clothing. Additionally, she was a lifelong music lover of bluegrass and country music as well as playing the piano for many years. She will be remembered as a humble, loving wife and mother who adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William Randall Wiser, daughter in law Julie Even Wiser; granddaughter Andra Leigh Wiser.

She is survived by her sons Brian Wiser (Shay), Kevin Wiser; grandchildren Cassidy (Shamus) Scott, Shelby Wiser, Morgan (Jake) Renner, Mackenzie Lubbers (Ross), great grandchildren Ady Scott, Bella Scott, Jolie Scott, Laine Scott, Beckett Renner, Luke Lubbers, Owen Lubbers and a brother Jerry Lucas (Kaye).

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Clara’s life on Monday, September 21st from 4-8pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with services Tuesday, September 22nd at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
