Gregory Dean Hudson

Gregory Dean Hudson, 56, of Monrovia, left this earthly life suddenly on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at his home. He was born in Greeley, Colorado, on November 20, 1969, to Linda Sue (Baker) Hudson and the late Gerry Dean Hudson.

Greg lived life in the fast lane, not just in his career as a Paintless Dent Repair Specialist, but in his passions as well. Self-employed and dedicated to his craft, he was known for his meticulous work and the big heart he shared with clients and friends alike.

Greg’s zest for life was matched only by his love for tinkering in his workshop, working on cars and motorcycles, and sharing a joke with his family and friends. He cherished friendly debates with his son Zach and hearing about his travels in motorsports, the nightly calls he had with his daughter Breanna, sharing laughter and building a life together with his longtime partner Carla, and making memories with his grandchildren.

A proud graduate of Ben Davis High School, Class of 1988, Greg, like his father, was a collector at heart. Whether collecting unique antiques or simply collecting memories with family, he enjoyed surrounding himself with things that held meaning. His generous spirit was evident to all; he was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.

No family gathering was complete without his mother’s famous German chocolate cake, a favorite of Greg’s that the family will forever associate with him and the memories they shared around the table.

He will be missed by many including his son, Zach (wife, Houyame) Hudson of Indianapolis; daughter, Breanna Hudson of Avon; life partner, Carla Cravens of Monrovia; mother, Linda Hudson of Plainfield; step-son, Christopher (wife, Ali) Cravens of Clayton; step-daughter, Olivia (husband, Blake) Weber of Mooresville; brother, DeWayne Hudson of Plainfield; and five grandchildren.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Gerry Hudson.

In keeping with his wishes, his earthly remains have been cremated. There are no public services scheduled at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life for Greg at a later date, with details to be shared as plans are finalized. Cremation has been entrusted to Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory.
