Joseph K. Trimble, Jr.
82, of Mooresville, passed away on October 1, 2026 at home, surrounded by his family. Joe was born on February 2, 1944 in Fowler, Indiana to the late Joseph K. Trimble, Sr. and Mary Pauline (Keller) Trimble.
In his younger years, Joe served in the US Army. After service, he worked in a stone quarry as well as being a civil defense dispatcher. More recently, Joe worked as a foreman for the State Highway Department, where he retired in 2006. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville as well as the Eagles in Mooresville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, working jig saw puzzles, playing games on the internet, gardening and helping his neighbors. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, family man who was always helping others.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Patricia Flynn, Mary Rodgers; a son Ray Stanfield; grandchildren Cody Stanfield, and Tyler Stanfield.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Irene (Konrad) Trimble; daughter Lisa Vandeventer (Ron), sons Larry Trimble, David Stanfield, Mark Stanfield; grandchildren Matthew Stanfield, Crystal Stanfield, Brian Stanfield, Caitlin Stanfield, Heather Stanfield, Jonathon Stanfield, Tori Stanfield, Lauren Burger, Tabitha Stanley, Tiffany McClure, Brandon Vandeventer (Bree) ; great grandchildren Kaylee McClure, Brooklyn McClure, Arianna McClure, Jackson Stanley, George Stanley, Kinsley McClure, Kayla Stanfield, Holly Stanfield, Salem Stanfield, Paisley Burger, Liam Burger, Ada Parker, Sawyer Woods, Zeffie Vandeventer, and Huck Vandeventer .
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at 11:00am in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1200 N. Indiana Street, Mooresville.

So sorry for your loss Joe was one of the nicest men I ever met Joe and Irene was my neighbors at one time and great neighbors they where Joe was kind and happy and always had something good to say He was always joking with everyone he met We really loved him as a great friend we will miss him every day
