Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I have spent many, many nights at this fine lady’s house. She always treated me as if I were one of her own. She loved the Lord and it showed in her daily life. I have no doubt, she is rejoicing in Heaven.

  2. My grandmother who always told us tostsy out of the tree, told me all about every flower she liked, made frog legs and turtle gravy, got me my very own box of instant mashed potatoes to come over and have with her and grandpa, let me use her sewing machine and fabric scraps to make my dolls clothing, andtaught me to make granny squares. These are a few of my favorite memories. There are too many to post here.

  3. She was the best grandma to me even though she was my aunt she was always grandma met I for one will sure miss this wonderful lady R I P grandma

  4. Charlene, When I had my first child, Nicole Ondine, I brought her to the cabin to show your parents my beautiful daughter. Your mother had crocheted a blanket for her. To this day I still have that blanket and when I see it, it reminds me of my daughter who died days later, and it reminds me of the love and generosity of your family. I’m saddened to hear you will be without her, but still, lifted up to know she was Christian and will enter her reward. I know her mother is rejoicing. Diana Demaree, friend of the whole family.

  5. Grandma, Ray, Micky, & I vacationed in Gatlingburg, TN August 2014. I will have many great memories of our vacation together :grinning: I loved the drive there and back listening to gospel/church hymns with Grandma enjoying singing and listening to Ray sing to her We also took her to get her pictures taking in an old time photo shoot, she felt very special and loved the attention that the lady taking her picture gave her. I will miss Grandma very much, but I feel blessed to have had a great role model who loved me. It didn’t matter if I married into the family instead of being born into it. She always had love to share with everyone!
