Great neighbor and friend, miss sitting in the driveway talking about the days events and neighborhood news. Always had something good to say as we came out to get the mail or just out in the yard working. I miss that 🙁
I had the pleasure of working with Tony for just a few years at Airborne Express, and he was always very helpful to me when I first started there. I just attended the funeral of a former co-worker at the Post Office who retired at the age of 81 after putting in 56 years, but who only got to enjoy his retirement for barely three years. I always envied Tony being able to retire at such a young age, and I am so sorry that he has also passed at such a relatively young age, but glad that he at least got to enjoy quite a few years of retirement before passing. To his family, I’d like to offer my condolences on your loss. It came way too soon. Steve de Kater
I remember as a kid Tony and Laura got an above ground pool, Scott and I where playing and Tony jumped in and sat on me, I was underwater what seemed like forever and he was just laughing so loud. Or another time he was so mad because my name was written on his garage door, he told my dad and I got a really good butt whoopin as it turned out my sister did it to get back at me. ahh fond memories of my youth. My heart goes out to Scott, Laura and the rest of the family. Love Eric Smith

Laura, I don’t know if you remember me or Larry. I have thought of you through the years, wondering how you are. You were good friends of Larry’s, especially after we divorced. But, thanks to the Lord we got back together. I pray you are doing well and happy to know Tony is ‘well’ also. I am sorry for your loss.
Dear Laura, We are very saddened by your family’s untimely loss of Tony… your beloved husband of 40+ years (outstanding!), best friend and confidant, and proud father/grand of your children and their children. How helpless we feel in that no words we say will ever adequately sooth the deep hurt all of you are enduring, but please accept our heartfelt prayers and thoughts on your behalf as we beg for God’s comfort and strength to be with you to sustain and help you make it through these most difficult of times. Tony will be sorely missed, but never forgotten as he rests in peace, finally freed of that illness that took him away from you way too soon. We long for the day when God will do away with all sickness, sadness, and death forever. (Rev. 21:3,4) May ‘the God of all comfort’ (2 Cor. 1:3) shower his blessings upon you and your family. In loving memory of dear Tony, The Harris family (Jeff, Karma, Jaira, and Kristopher).
So sorry to hear about your dad. I will always remember what an awesome friend he was to Bob. And what he did for our family after we lost Bob. What a great man! You and your family are in my prayers. Did he ever get to ride Bobs bike? I hope so!
I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart truely goes out to you and your family, Tony was always a wonderful person way back when we were young and running wild in the trailor park. Sincerely Doyle and Beverly Dozier
