Arthur Norman Patrum

August 7, 1933 ~ January 12, 2025
Arthur Norman Patrum, 91, a resident of Little Point and a lifelong Morgan County resident, passed peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Norman, as most knew him, left this earthly life with a smile on his face and with his family at his side. He was born in Mooresville on August 7, 1933 to the late Arthur Patrum and Norris E. (Lang) Patrum.
He attended Mooresville High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960. A proud Teamster truck driver, he retired in 1988 from the former Transcom Trucking Company of Indianapolis.
Norman married his life partner, Pattie Lou Jaggers, on September 26, 1953. The couple had four daughters and enjoyed over 70 years of marriage before Pattie passed on February 27, 2024.
A follower of Jesus Christ, he was a member of the Eminence Baptist Church. Norman was a private pilot and greatly enjoyed the time spent flying. He was a member of the Ercoupe Owner’s Club, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his daughters, Susan (husband, Ron) Keeton of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Debra Myers of Indianapolis, Pamela Harris of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Tess (husband, John) Mallery of Trafalgar; grandchildren, Heather (husband, Patrick) Hurt, Jared Keeton, Cassandra (husband, Mitch) Trimble, Garrick (wife, Sarah) Mallery, Joel (wife, Kate) Myers, Drew (fiancé, Erica) Myers, Katie (husband, Tyler) Ratlieff, and Susan Harris; great grandchildren, Dylan, Ava, Jackson, Grant, Kylie, Harper, Magnolia, and (soon to arrive) Josephine; and nephew, David Patrum.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Norris; brother, Charles Patrum, sister, Marianne Patrum; and son-in-law, Eric Myers.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, January 18th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. A service celebrating Norman’s life will immediately follow, beginning at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest by his beloved wife, Pattie, in Mooresville Cemetery following the service.
