Barbara Ann Dolan
59, of Avon, formerly of Dyer, Indiana passed away on December 28, 2025, at home. Barb was born on November 27, 1966 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Donald Cox and Catherine (Keilman) Cox.
Barb was a proud graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington. After graduation, Barb taught at Avon High School for many years, and helped coach the cheerleading squad, before retiring in 2018. Barb will be remembered by her family as a beautiful, smart, witty, passionate, take-charge kind of person, who was a good Mom, a great cook (especially her lasagna), who loved her family and friends fiercely.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Dolan; children Halle Dolan, Jenna Dolan, Michael Dolan; sisters Rebecca Carnagey, Bethany Cox, Lizabeth Poore; brother Don Ramana; her granddaughter Wren Miller; second Mom Sabena Poore; her loving friend Halle Haste as well as many other extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Barb’s life privately.
