Barbara Ann Schafer, 69, of Martinsville, passed from this life on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at The Waters of Martinsville. She was born in Mooresville on July 1, 1954 to the late Sylvester Schafer and Mary Magdalene (Davis) Schafer.
Barb, as most knew her, was an avid IU Basketball and Colts Football fan. She also loved cats.
She will be missed and fondly remembered by her friends and family including her brother, Steven Schafer of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Mary; and brother, Jerry Schafer.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating Barb’s life beginning at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Carlilse-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory. There will be an hour of visiting prior. Her earthly remains have been cremated and will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery.
