  1. Prayers to the family. Ben was my friend and neighbor for 12 years. Ben and Penny always welcomed me in their home and treated me more like a sister, family, than a friend. He will be missed. Love, Lisa…If there is anything I can do, please let me know

  2. My name is Janet Wright. I am his daughter but I was not called or told that my father had died. But it’s ok me and my two other sisters didn’t matter. But I would still like to say I’m sorry for there loss even though it was my loss too.

  3. My name is Larry “Sarge” Fields. Benjamin Gordon “Woods” is my older brother. I’m truly sorry we couldn’t spend more time together. Joining the U S Air Force at age 17 and serving 21 years abroad prevented us from having a more loving family relationship. I visited when I could and really enjoyed time with You and your family. God bless you Penny, may God help you through this sad time. Rest in Peace big brother you will be missed. Love you always!!!

  4. Chandler and I (Alyce) use to go visit Ben in the nursing home Ben went to the same church as we did. He was always excited to have company. Before we would leave he would grab both our hands and start praying. We enjoyed some story’s he told us of his past. He will be missed. Prayers for all the family in your loss.

  5. Ben always smiled at me, he was a very kind man. I only spoke to him at church, but I am friends with his beautiful wife and daughter.I missed seeing him at church, now I know he is with Jesus , no pain no suffering..But he will be missed!
