Beverly Lou Bird
66, of Martinsville, passed away on March 14, 2018 at Grandview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Martinsville. Beverly was born on July 11, 1951 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Harold R. and Gladys S. (Williams) Sturgeon.
Beverly worked as a Contract Courier for many years. She enjoyed the freedom and independence of being her own boss, while helping others. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister; Sheila Ellis.
Left to cherish her memory is her son; Jesse Bird, daughter; Kimberly Stanich, brother; Jack Sturgeon, her twin sister; Barbara Jones and six grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held Monday from 4-6pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with a brief service to follow at 6pm in the funeral home.
