Bobby Barger

Bobby Barger, 45 of Mooresville, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was born September 8, 1969 in Franklin to the late Robert George Barger and Lucy Lee (Bishop) Barger; his mother survives in Franklin.
Known to be an excellent painter, Bobby established his own business in 1996, Barger Custom Painting where he proudly worked until he passed away. On October 16, 2010 he was united in marriage to Diane (Hawkins) Barger and she survives. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3988 in Mooresville and #604 in Plainfield and the American Legion Post #103 in Mooresville and #145 in Avon.
Other survivors include his son, Devon Barger of Mooresville; three step children, Tyler, Camden and Krysta Martin all of Camby; three brothers Raymond L. (Sandy) Barger of Port St. Lucy, Florida, Kent E. Barger of Martinsville and Duane H. (Tammy) Barger of Mooresville; three step grandchildren, Camron, Natalie and Damien Martin; mother-in-law, Edith M. Hawkins of Mooresville, and his nephew, Corey Barger of Port St. Lucy, Florida. A memorial service in celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6 at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge #3988, 451 Samuel Moore Parkway, Mooresville, Indiana.   5. I remember Bobby as a little boy running around Southlake. Even as a little tot he had that fire in his eyes, like i’m always going to have fun. I remember one time a brother had to come get him because he was’nt supposed to be there and had to chase him. I thank him for being a good friend to my brother Bobby Greene. Bobby thought alot of him and will miss him dearly. My heart goes out to the whole family.

  7. I read someone’s comments remembering Bobby from Southlake. Many will remember him from there. He and brother Duane were a very helpful pair for my dad Clyde Jr. Just wanted to say hello to family members and friends as I know this was quite a shock. One never knows what tomorrow will bring.   8. Bobby’s personality was larger than life. He will be greatly missed. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Barger family.

  14. It was just last week when dad(larry simpson) and I were talking about Lake Monroe and looking forward to tying up Bobby. We had a ball with him on the water! Full of life. He will be dearly missed.
