Psalm 90:10 refers to those who reach 80 years of age as being “especially strong.” At 96 years, Mrs. Russell fit that description. However, we can look forward to the fulfillment of Psalm 37:29 which assures us that the righteous will possess the earth and live forever upon it. During this difficult time, may you find comfort from our Heavenly Father.
I’m very sorry for your loss. The Bible can’t offer much comfort at this difficult time. John 5:28, 29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things for resurrection of life. ” For more information please go to http://www.JW.org.
